OK, no messing, I would like to know what is the BEST face paint for ds's 5th birthday party. It's going to take pure ages to do them all (30 kids [pale emoticon])so I want serious coverage and a decent book to go with them. Any clues? Ta.

You want Grimas. The best.

I used to work as a face painter and used the snazeroo stuff - really easy to use, goes on well, washes off well. I used to do a child in about 2 minutes (and i wasn't particularly artistic!)

Grimas are expensive but will last for all your parties for years to come.

I've had snazaroo too - used them this Halloween actually - and while I found the putty etc to be fun, the paints I found to be a bit thin on coverage, even with hardly any water.

Oooo I'm being outvoted!

I have this book, an Usborne one, it's useful for small children, the whole face designs like tiger, etc are easy to follow.

THANK YOU

now to persuade my niece that she really wants to work at ds's party painting faces
