Having trawled my brain and the net I know I am still missing something

I was not planning doing it all just yet but the lovely payroll lady has "done it for me to save me the hastle"

So now she has started a huge ball rolling. Once you do payroll there are so many other things to sort out - not least the bank!

So here is my list to date. Feel free to swipe it for yourself or add anything I have forgotten.

Car registration
Driving license
Passport
House Insurance
Motoring insurance
Breakdown policy
Private Health Care
Pension plans
Building Society
Child Benefit
GP
Dentist
Inland Revenue
Professional Memberships
Credit Card/s
Mortgage
Mobile Phone
Library
Childcare Vouchers
Bank (for cheque book, cards and accounts)
The Accounts department at work
Nursery/school

And..... Over to you all

Utility bills that are in your name?

callmeovercautious · 26/10/2008 20:13

Good point, DH has all of them in his so I forgot about that.

However I suppose I should let the council know.

So Add:

Utility Bills.
Council Tax.
Electoral Register.

tesco clubcard
boots advantage card?

(you told me to add lol!)

callmeovercautious · 26/10/2008 20:50

And a good one too

Keep them coming ladies. I have a spreadsheet to publish don't you know?

So Add:

Tesco
Boots
Sainsburys
Any other reward cards...

Also I have thought of:

Email accounts
Mumsnet
Other sites you may use like Amazon? More of a nice to do but if you buy stuff on your shiny new bank card and you don't re-register the transaction won't work - arggh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and - don't apply for a new credit card or account until your existing ones are sorted. No credit history apparently - silly DH

online survey places too

(assuming you have already told relatives that didn't come to the wedding?)

callmeovercautious · 26/10/2008 22:46

I have loads of rellies that did not come, in fact no one really except parents, GPs and siblings, so loads of pissed off Aunties and Uncles - and no I have not bothered to tell them but if you insist [sigh]

Add:

Mad relatives.
Online Survey places.

lol @ mad relatives!
mad as in or mad insane??

callmeovercautious · 27/10/2008 18:35

Could be either I suppose

I thought of another:

National Insurance.

I did a load today by phone:

Childcare Vouchers, Pension, Health care (all through work) just took a phonecall, don't need to write with my certificate so that helps alot!

I also get a "death in service" benefit that I filled in a new form for, might be worth adding that as well if you get a similar deal (or your DH as your name is different on his now too).
