Hello. I am thinking of having DD's 6th birthday party at home. Will prob have about 12 children altogether. I am thinking of having the party for 1.5 hours rather than two which will consist of 1 hour for games and a crafty thing and 30 minutes for cake and food. Am I being mean to have it this short. I am worried I will have trouble filing the time otherwise. Any feed back will be much appreciated, thanks.

1.5 excellent 2 hours do-able but knackering.
keep wine on standby.

1.5 hours will be more like 1.75 anyway (ime) just like 2 hours will be more than 2 hours by the time late parents have arrived, party bags distributed, lost coats found etc.

No you are not mean at all. I did 2 hours and regret it.
