Have only read OP.

My best friend had her daughters 3rd party last week - she had a face painter there from an event we had been to at our toddler group. She charged £50 to be there the whole time and did whoever wanted to be done - faces, arms etc. She was amazing and worth every penny, I will be hiring her for DD2's 3rd party. Best friend made it clear that this was instead of party bags by the way, which I thought was a brilliant idea!

Oh, sorry, we're down south. Hope you find somebody!

We had a young woman do face painting at DD3s 3rd birthday party - picture on profile!

She charged 30 pounds an hour at a venue of our choice and was amazing, she was so quick she managed to do all the children in about 1.5 hrs and then adjusted her charge accordingly. She also does make up for parties and functions so I think I might get her to do my face for DHs work Christmas ball.

Don't think I'll ask her to make me a butterfly though!
