Well their salads are very good.

How about you buy a boned and rolled sirloin of beef and roast it, poach a salmon, and do some veggie quiches for the veggies.

i have used, and would again use, them for finger food and cold stuff

for a dinner party i once used sonny's in barnes and they were excellent

(but it was a bit different - they cam to the house and cooked/served there)

ooo - sounds good tutter - might check that out. we've sent out invites and it's looking a bit like numbers could be a bit thin for a standing around party but too many for me to cook a sit-down dinner - so am thinking out my options. I really want to make it extra nice.

The curries are very good.

just checked out the Sonny's website - looks great - was it horribly expensive and did you have to book months in advance?

have a look at sonnys website -- sonnys.co.uk

catering under the 'shop' bit

lol

i think it worked out at about £40 per head for a sit-down, 4-course meal

with a chef and waiter at home for the evening
