Ok dp and i got married a few weeks ago abroad and are having a garden party next week to celebrate with our close friends and family. Dp invited his 2 out of his 3 aunties as although we don't see them much, they are very good to our kids and we exchange cards etc. Anyway, his other auntie who is a bit of a lost course, was not invited - we havne't seen her in over 10 yrs and no nothing about her etc.
Anyway confusion has happened and MIL (4 sisters!), has announced that all her sisters will be coming including the one we did not invite along with her new husband wtf!! i said in the nicest possible way that we hadn't invited her - but it fell on deaf ears. What do we do, dp will not confront his mum about it as they are not that close. So now we have 3 extra people that we didn't even bloody invite.
What do we do? just go with it? it'll be a bit embarassing to get his mum to uninvite her.
