When should I send child party invites?

I've just booked my 6 year olds soft play party for November 15th. School break up on 23rd October and return on 2nd November. Should I send the invites before half term? I'm worried they may forget to rsvp during the holidays and also it's his first year at specialist school. With it being sen children I'm thinking the extra time to plan may be better. Would you send before or after half term? Thank you

Yes, I usually do them a month in advance.

Round here it's 6-8 weeks in advance, especially this time of year which gets booked up so quickly. Id definitely send them before half term, maybe the week before school ends so when bags are thrown down for a week and forgotten about your invitation has already been found
