Hello!

My little one will be 3 late September, she starts preschool 10 day before her bday, along with her little brother who is 1 6 weeks after her birthday
She talks about her birthday all the time and is super excited, and has asked if she’ll get a party as she’s been to 2 or 3 kids parties now

I don’t really know many people with kids so was thinking I’d do a hall hire with bouncy castle in between the birthdays

Has anyone else done it where you just give invites out at the preschool without knowing people yet? If anything, I think it’ll be a nice way to mingle?

I did an antenatal second time round so there’s 5/6 little ones to invite, 3/4 family friends but obviously if only half can make it it’s very small!
About 15 diff kids at preschool across the 3 days they’ll be there so think that could be lovely?

help! An overthinking mum lol

If day half won’t come as too new and it’s summer so may have other plans, do I think hiring a hall and bouncy castle is too much. I’d either do soft okay or at that age we did parties at home. Get sine traditional games going. It’s going to be two hours at that age and with food and cake you just need to have a few games organised and decorate everything and it will be grand.

Thank you, yeah I was thinking about 50% would come. To be honest near me, hall plus bouncy castle is £150 whereas our soft plays start at £400 for a party! I nearly screamed when I looked at the prices lol!!!
party at home would be my preference - have lovely memories of doing that for my birthdays but unfortunately our building work won’t be finished by then!
