Magician for a 5 year old's party? Essex/East Anglia

Has anybody had a magician for a 5th birthday party - was it any good and did the kids "get it"? I'm really stuck for ideas for what to do for DS, who's birthday is end of August and just a few days before his brother's 3rd birthday for which we'll do an at home/pass-the-parcel/musical bumps/party food type thing. I'd like to do something separate for DS1 and his school friends.

And can anybody recommend a magician in Essex/East Anglia?

Yes hundreds of times over the last decade,he is good the children seem to love him although he isn't cheap and can be booked months in advance ,there is also someone called Wayne someone who is meant to be very good

Sally Squiggle is great - she is listed on 'yell.com' - search under hertfordshire. She'd probably travel. I've seen her twice and she is lovely - connected to sean goodman somehow too. Did my DDs 5th birthday

Spoke to Steve Sausage today who is pricy but seemed pleasant enough, although am also impressed with Sean Goodman's website and would love to know if anybody has seen him. Thanks.
