dh's gran's 80th birthday looms, what to give as gift?

She already has lots of pics of her dggd and one of us three so any other suggestions please!

Is she a lively gran or a sedentary one?

My MIL (who is - um - about 84 now I think) loves her garden so plants and plant pots are good for her. (Also, this year, bags of compost )

She also likes painting pictures so often gets painting kit; and we got her a freeview box a year or so ago, for watching those programmes about painting.

Does yours watch TV much? Has she got a DVD player? What programmes does she like, could you get her a set of DVDs if she has a player already?
