Birthday outing/activity ideas after surgery

My daughter turns 14 in December. She has recently had spinal fusion surgery and therefore cannot do anything physical such as ice skating, karting, climbing, bowling, swimming etc. She isn't overly interested in make up, there isn't anything good on at the cinema or theatre and we are at a loss as to what she might do with her friends to celebrate her birthday other than a sleep over. Any ideas for an outing or activity?

Something crafty like pottery painting? Or a miniature workshop? A pottery place near us let's you bring items to your house to paint and then you return them for the final firing so it could even be a home party.

If they like playing games, a board game cafe maybe, or a trip to another usual cafe like a cat one! Or one of those behind the scenes at the zoo experiences where you can feed the penguins/hold a meerkat. One of my children recently went to a cake decorating party which was very enjoyable -- lots of different piping techniques etc.

Last idea - you could host a murder mystery and make it a dinner party for all the guests. You buy it (either in a box like a board game or online and download everything) so it has all the instructions to host and you mostly just follow the instructions.

Thank you for the ideas!
