4 year olds party

Soooo, my son started school this year and I usually throw him a party. Which I still decided to do. I handed the invites out 1 week ago and the party is the 30th of November- I know very early but with Christmas being a busy time I thought this was best. My issue, I forgot to put RSVP date on the invites. Out of 27 I’ve only had 4 replies. i can’t actually organise anything ( party bags) until I know numbers…

will people respond if they’re not coming?
is it too early for people to respond?
I feel sad and there is people coming from outside of school but yeah I’m at a bit of a loss!!

If you have the parents numbers just send them a Whatsapp saying you forgot to put a RSVP on invites and it would be great if they could let you know as soon as possible so you can get things organised.
In my experience some parents are great at replying some not so great. I would reply to the invites of the people who would RSVP when we got the invites then parents who didn't reply when they sent out invites I would leave it as long as possible to answer them.
Not everyone will RSVP to say yes/no. Some just turn up on the day. 1 time I had a kid and his sibling turn up to a party they weren't invited too. Parent heard from someone else about the party, time, date, venue and asked someone else if they could bring/collect them so I didn't even see the parent. So expect some cheeky fuckery around kids parties.

I think it's too early to be worrying. You have sent the invite, three weeks before the party message people to let you know if they are coming so you can confirm for food etc
