Any tips? Hosting 10 children for DD 6th birthday next month at home for 2 hours. I have an organised craft activity, bouncy castle, biscuit decorating and lunch (boxes) so far. Plus party bags. Some parents might want to stay still so thinking of providing beverages and maybe a bit of food..? As it’s not many I don’t mind getting some bits in for them! Any thing else that makes a successful party? As a parent and child?

It sounds like you’ve got it all covered - what time is it at? If it’s over lunch I’d provide a bit more for parents but if not then some biscuits and tea and coffee is fine.

Yea it’s over lunch time 11.30-1.30. Thinking tea, coffee (wine!?) mmm what food for adults - I could make some sausage rolls, fruits/biscuits? Or something a bit more substantial…

Sounds obvious but don’t let children bounce on a full stomach. We learnt the hard way and ended up having to disinfect and hose down the bouncy castle. The following year we deflated the castle when the dc were eating and didn’t put it back up after.
If parents are staying, be prepared for siblings too.

It sounds like you have everything covered. You could just make sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps etc for adults. I would just provide soft drinks ( no need for wine). I sure everyone will have a great time.
