40 red/ruby things for a 40th wedding anniversary!

It's my Mum and Dads Ruby Wedding Anniversary next year, and I had no idea what to do present-wise until I saw this idea on moneysavingexpert last week. This was to put together a "hamper" of 40 red/ruby things e.g Ruby port, red soap etc.

I got some Rose soap today but need some other ideas (big or small, all prices considered!) as to what to get.

Wensleydale with cranberries from any supermarket. Delicious.

Redcurrant jelly, pref homemade.

Bottle of red wine - if you're really splashing out, could be bottled the year of their marriage!!

Tiggerish- don't worry about not being inspired- I can't think of any ideas either! Lipstick and socks I hadn't thought of!

choosyfloosy- that wensleydale cheese is really yummy! Ruby cufflinks were something I had at the back of my mind. I'll have to investigate those on ebay.

nkf- I like the idea of a curry; they're into those!
