Hoping for some ideas, its my 30th birthday in October, and i’m torn on what to do. Though my husband has some “ideas” i wanted to steer him into something i’d really enjoy, the only problem is i have two babies, after being on a double maternity leave for 18 months now, with one 5 month old and one 17 month old, im torn between spending my 30th with them both and entering my 30s as a family with my babies, or being a bit more selfish and doing something with just myself and my husband. Turning 30 in my head is a big thing for me and i want to celebrate it in the best possible way. We don’t have a great budget however though due to me being on a double maternity leave, so it would be UK only.

Any ideas? Would you spend as a family or have a night away with the husband?

Please throw ideas my way as well

Whereabouts in the country are you?
I think I would book a nice country hotel for a night with husband and then also do something nice as a family too - even just a nice day out at something aimed at the kids with a pub lunch

Im West Midlands, i was thinking that, theres the pig hotel in the cotswolds but for one night its £400+ and i don’t know if i could justify it!!!

That’s a happy medium though and where my birthday falls in the week could work very well doing both!

Depends what you like doing but what about a nice pub / hotel and then a trip to Bicester the next day with some spending money? Or even I nice hotel in Oxford city centre and a day of pottering around the shops, nice dinner and drinks et
