how much variety for sweet party food - for 6 year olds

you would have thought I'd sussed it by now...the one thing I have sussed is how much gets wasted (or ends up in my own tummy) dd wants standard stuff...savoury = sarnies, sausages, hula hoops plus some token carrot sticks. is party rings (compulsory) + tunnocks tea cakes (party = excuse for nostalgia) enough? plus birthday cake - not sure if that will get eaten there or taken away. or should I have a third thing? I'm on ocado right now...(and yes I know I oculd do risce krispie cakes but, tbh, my level of arsedness is shockingly low. bad mother.

ok - I like that - something nice and small that they can have a few of - rather than a big sticky bun type thing. but thinking about it, aren;t they essentially the same thing as party rings?
