First holy communion party

Hiya,

My daughter makes her first holy communion this year and plans are in full swing. The only venue nearby and suitable for us is quite large for the amount of people we will have attending. Venue holds up to 100 and we will have 40-50 max.

My initial idea was to hire a bouncy castle to fill some space and keep the kids occupied but I've since learned that the size of bouncy castle that will fit in said room isn't suitable for over 6's 🙃

Have any of you geniuses had anything different at party for older children (age range will be 3-8) whether it be birthday/communion or even wedding entertainment for the kids.

Hire a children's entertainer?

Set up an assault course.

Get some rolls of wall paper, get each child to lie down on the paper and another draws round them, they the get to 'decorate' themselves.

You could have prizes.
