Hi all!

I’m hosting a birthday party for my soon to be 1 year old. I have hired out the village hall and have hired a local baby group entertainer to come and entertain for 1.5 hours. I have put only the 1.5 hours on the invite as she has a play break in the middle and I was thinking of doing the birthday cake then, slicing up to add to party bags as folks are leaving.

is this enough do we think? I wasn’t sure weather to put on food or not? The timings is 1:30 - 3 so it’s a tad after lunch…also with it being for babies it’s quite a shote time (but full on with the entertainment)

thank you

Could you put snacks out with the cake, like some veg sticks, cheese and crackers? I would expect something and most babies will be eating an afternoon snack at this age.

I would do this. Or even in the middle break! Parents will expect a small snack.

I would expect soke kind of food at that time and probably would skip lunch expecting the party to food.
