Ok ds will be 3 soon, and i'd like to do him his first proper birthday party from home, as he now has his own little mates.

Is it unreasonable to do whilst his 6 year old brother is at school, he'll miss out on it? just find that if i do it in half term, which is when his birthday is, all the other childrens' siblings' will be there and they have a tendency to take over things and get really bulshy. Just feel guilty that he won't be at the party, has anyone else chosen to do this?

DS1 will be coming out for the day though on his actual birthday, so will have all the fun then. Is it ok to do seperate parties ocassionally?

yes, absolutely fine - keep some cake and a party bag for your older ds maybe?

sounds fine - they are separate people, def keep some cake for ds1 though.

will do, was going to invite one of his school friends back after school, so they can enjoy the bouncy castle!
