DF & Christmas

I have 3 siblings.1DS, married spends Christmas with IL’s, DB also spends Christmas with DS’s IL’s. Other DS, unsure of plans.

My DF has come to mine, every year for the last 10yrs approx

I enjoy him coming but when he does it’s usually for about 3weeks.

My DC’s birthday is 1 week before Christmas so he will arrive the weekend before & usually not leave till the weekend after New Years.

We have more recently had a good relationship but for the 3 weeks, I feel as if I’m walking on eggshells in my own house.

I know he comes up for my DC’s birthday. His other GC are older, apart from the DS I mentioned who has a young DS who is non verbal autistic.

I don’t mind hosting him when it’s not quite so long & also it’s now just given he will come to ours.

How do I break this habit? I am on edge constantly over Christmas but would rather him come to ours if he has nowhere else to go.

I don’t have much of a relationship with my siblings so can’t just ask them.

Your siblings are terrible for not considering your/their Father at Christmas. Three weeks is a very long time🙈
