Hello, my daughter's 13th birthday is coming up and I want to take her and her friends to cinema and to a restaurant nearby for a meal. This is purely to avoid driving them around and this way, the parents can drop and pick up at same place.
My daughter has asked if she and her friends can sit at a seperate table while at the restaurant and I see no problem with that.
My question however,
- How do I ensure that the teenagers stick to the menu and not over order and waste any food. Is there a way I can decide what they can order? I am thinking pizza express! Will setting a budget limit embarrass my child?
2)Taking them to cinema after the meal, again how do I restrict that they do not go crazy over popcorn, drinks and pick n mix and make me bankrupt?
I will be on my own with my other younger child and potentially 8-10, 13 year olds and really want to know if this is sensible plan or am I better off ordering pizzas at home and playing a movie at home?
This is my daughter's first birthday party at secondary school and with this group of friends.
Thank you in advance.
