Hi I’m new to this so hopefully I’m doing this right.
my eldest will turning 18 in October and I haven’t a clue what to do for him. In October 2020 I lost my 9!year old son to cancer and life after has been hell for us all. In may I came out of a abusive relationship and as these things go all the family and friends (his side) sided and went with my ex, so where for years the talk for my sons birthday was to have this person there that person there go out have a drink properly celebrate his day I am at a loss of what to do for him. He hasn’t any friends other than those he talks to online so him doing something with friends unfortunately isn’t going to work. I have a small family myself my mum and sister in law. I have thought about taking him and my 16 year old daughter away for the weekend but I don’t know if that’s a good idea, i just want to make his day special for him given everything his been through….. any advice or suggestions are truly appreciated.
