Pinatas with strings to pull - how do they work?

Well I think I know how they work. The children all pull strings and there is a "magic" one that makes the bottom fall out. But what happens if the first child pulls the magic string? And also how do I know if there are enough for each child to have a turn?

what a poncey pinata.

much better to have a pinata at the end of a long rope which you throw over a horizontal bar, blindfold a kid and give a huge stick to try to whack the pinata. Some adult at the end of the long rope to pull on it to make it harder to get a direct hit.

Don't know about the string ones would be very interested myself. I got the bash it type earlier this year and it was so ............................ annoying in the end only a sledgehammer would open the stupid thing.

3 and 4 year old girls bashing a pinata? Fear I might be there all afternoon... No actually I fear that her older brother and his best friend would take over.

We had a bashing style one for DS and it worked then because you can do things like leave it spinning while they are hitting etc to ensure that they all get a turn or two. Just wondered about the string things.

Think yiuo just all hold a peice of string and pull together, very teamworky.

I'm with kiskidee. give hyped up sugared frenzied party children sticks and a effigy of a donkey. What could go wrong? Go on go on.
