Can anyone recommend an online service to make this easier? I have 2 weeks to sort - have I left it too late?

Not sure what you mean
No need to give anything at all. If you do

Add a bottle of nice wine into the online shop or pick up a box of chocolates
Don't give anything home made (except a card)
Dont give flowers as they may well be going away immediately
No mugs/key rings/cushions with your Childs photos on
No best teacher stuff
No fairies (ok that's a personal one)

Hi lovely, I highly recommend Viing.

Thank you. I mean from the class. I’m the class rep and it looks like it’s down to me to sort it…?

Can you arrange a card from the class on Viing too or is it just money collection?

Hmm

I would avoid class presents personally
If you get it wrong that means that they get 1 unwanted gift (see fairies comment above)

I will reluctantly give a box of chocs & card. I’m not keen on the teacher, or the school.

No- the cards are the best bit. Much better just to give a card with a nice message than bother with a present.

Find out what they like and get a voucher for that. Or cash in a card.

we don’t do class presents at current school but last school did and they always got a voucher for the teacher from their favourite shop.

We usually give John Lewis vouchers and some chocolates. Always seems to go down well in our school.

You can do the collection, the card and the gift if you wanted and you can have the card printed (moonpig style! Which makes for a lovely thoughtful gift from the whole class). It’s super flexible.
If you don’t want the pressure of selecting a gift you can’t go wrong with a John Lewis voucher which they also have.

Just like baby showers, teacher gifts is something that gets out of hand. They really are not necessary.
