Toddler garden party ideas- no room for bouncy castle

DS2 will be 1 at the end of next month so we are having a bbq/party to celebrate. Family only, but there will be children up to the age of 6 including my DS1 who is 3 and youngest nephew who is 2.

We live in a 4 bed new build and have a typical new build postage stamp sized garden which is too small for a bouncy castle! Can anyone recommend any games or activities we could do to keep all the little ones entertained?!

We have a sandpit and I thought I could do a bubble making station- we have big wands and bubble guns etc.

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciatedSmile

Dinosaur or truck wash - lots of bubbles, cloths and jugs for pouring. I’d use a tuff tray if you have one or just some big plastic boxes.
Craft station - decorating biscuits tends to go down well, make your own pizza or decorate a cheap t shirt
Some games like Simon Says, pass the parcel and musical bumps where they’re not running about
Paddling pool if by some miracle it’s warm enough!!

Decorating biscuits is a great idea- thank you!
Fingers crossed for some sun and we can get the paddling pool out!

Those giant chalks to draw on the patio and walls.
Ball pool - a cheap paddling pool filled with coloured balls
Cheap packing pool filled with warm bubbles to play in. Fill with bath toys.
Face paints for an adult to do simple designs
Huge roll of paper held down with rocks to colour/paint on.

Fill a box with improvised fancy dress stuff - old hats, shoes, costume jewellery.
One of those inflatable water sprinklers.
Cheap plastic skittle set from Home Bargains.
