There are a few companies around, many in the London area. You could try googling them.

I bet their really expensive though.

lisa, when I got married we used the village hall next to my mums house - horrid looking place but it was important for me to be married in the place I grew up. We could'nt have a marquee because of the weather (Late October) but got a marquee company to do the hall as if it was - starry fabric in ceiling, white muslin coating the walls, carpet etc. It looked amazing

I used to work with a gang of girls doing similar stuff. That company folded (boss went off to Dorset to have kids!) but I'm still in touch with lots of the girls. Where in the country are you and what theme were you after? I could see if any of them are working for similar companies still. We were based in London but travelled to jobs.

No lisa - and asmine wasa small operation in Nottingham doubt taht they'd do it. But I'd imagine any marqueee company would - and shouldn't be too busy in November so would probably be glad of the business

We used to do room transformations for big parties and club nights. Lots of the girls are doing theatre sets now and also room transformations. What theme were you after and I can ask them if they could get a team together to manage it. Lots of very creative girls.

I asked them specially - you may have to convince them that it's possible, but it is worth it, and the firm that did ours were suprised at how easy it was to drape the stuff they would normally put inside a tent, inside a room. And of course they already have the tables/chairs/carpet etc and can use that just as they would in a tent.

We had our wedding reception in a village hall type place and transformed it with black and white chair seat covers with silver bows, black and white helium balloons on back of each chair and black starry fabric at front only. Helium balloons sound tacky I know but looked fab. Everyone who knew the hall commented that it looked amazing. The company we got the seat covers from would have done the whole room but were expensive so we did everything else ourselves. Think the DJ had the black fabric and star lights for the front.
