Wedding newspaper. Need help

Hi all, I am helping my daughter-in-law to be do a wedding newspaper. Both of us have mixed thoughts about it, but we then went to a wedding where they had one and it was rather nice and good to do while you’re waiting for the ceremony to start, so the fact we are having one is nonnegotiable!

My big question is what have you read in them or done in them that you thought was cute or funny, or just lovely?

Could you do a “overheard in Waitrose” bit with silly quotes/mis quotes each of them have said? Like I’ve recently just found out my parents lied to me about tortoises being illegal as pets the uk….. I’m 39 and just found out it was a big fat fib!!

I think it’s a lovely idea though!
