I'm holding a party for my soon to be 7 year old, i know a couple of the mums, but im not that friendly with them all i just don't know what to wear! all eyes will be on the host 😬 and I want to make a good impression any ideas welcome!!! I'm not a dress kind of girl i Iike casual wear.

Honestly, whatever you're comfortable in? Jeans and a nice loose top or shirt as you'll be very busy? Nice make-up and earrings and have a lovely time!

Mums at parties that I have been to have very casual wear, OP.

It really isn't a dress up event for anyone, apart from the birthday child and even then, most bday kids are really casual.

You will be too stressed running around so wear comfortable. Greet each guest and have a quick chat with each to appreciate them bringing their child. That will be more appreciated than what you are wearing. I have been to many parties where the parent has not even bothered to say hi, how are you, thank you for coming. That impression lasts longer.
