Im trying to be organised and plan my sons birthday party, his birthday is in November so needs to be inside ideally. We cannot host it at home, our house is too small! I was thinking of hiring a hall and doing messy play but I’m worried it will be a bit boring and lots of cleaning up.

Any ideas?
Thank you!

Id do a group booking at soft play. Probably cheaper than hiring a hall once you add in everything you need to faff about with for messy play/ food / ect, and a lot less hassle.

A village hall would be nice and cheap. Around here they're around £25 for a couple of hours (maybe a bit more, a few years since I hired one) then hire a bouncy castle (or some provide them for a bit extra, maybe some little ride on toys and I did cute box meals for the food.

I actually love your messy play idea. If you have any links with your local nursery or school they might lend you a couple of tuff spots.

Is there anywhere local that does small parties? We've been to one at Monkey Forest before when ours were that age and it was lovely. November can be ok sometimes?
