Is 7 toddlers enough to host a mess play party in a hall?

I really want to do a party for my son, our house is too small. His birthday is in November so I can’t do anything outdoors. He loves messy play wanted to host messy play party and hire a hall. However I’m worried it will look a bit silly just having 7 children, there will be parents too so around 16 adults.

We hired a hall for small numbers at that age. With grown ups too it was too many for our house. Was nice having lots of space!

I took my DC to a party with only 5 kids. It was the most enjoyable party I have been to!

Lots of church or village halls have a second smaller room/hall. They often tend to be cheaper too.
