Hi All,

First time posting!

Planning a 1st Birthday party for LO and am planning to do a BBQ. We have approx. 30 adults and 5 children, ranging from 1yr - 7yrs (most around 3/4mark), coming.

Trying to keep it as cheap, but as nice as possible.

Does the below look about right please?

Burgers x 32
Sausages x 60
Chicken drumsticks x 56
Vegetable kebabs x 30
Potato salad
Egg Mayo
Salad
Burger/Hotdog buns

Is there anything else you would add for the adults?

Also, any ideas on what to feed the children would be greatly appreciated! :D

Thank youuuu

It sounds delicious. I would be well pleased with that spread.

The kids will probably just eat sausages. I’d maybe have a plate of cherry tomatoes, cucumber and carrot sticks for them with ice lollies for afters

I’d say you need at least one burger per person, including children.

You may have over estimated the chicken drumsticks… but I’m biased because I only like boneless chicken so I wouldn’t have one.

Halloumi always goes down well on a bbq - get more than you think you’ll need. Either include in the vegetable skewers or just on its own.

I'd scrap the egg mayo, maybe coleslaw instead. Halloumi is lovely on the bbq, corn cobs too, super quick.

For the children I would do extra sausages and maybe some cold plates- veg sticks and dips, crackers & cheese, maybe some individual jellies and lots of ice lollies!

Also agree coleslaw instead of egg mayo

Onions, condiments and desserts.

Thank you! I forgot my dad said he would do some coleslaw and quiche, so that wasn't on my list but it will be there :) Trying to do ten things at once, doh!
