Exclusive hire or not?

Hi!

we are just about to book a soft play party for my daughters 4th birthday and the options are:

Non exclusive hire at 10, 1 or 3pm either day at a huge soft play
Exclusive hire at 9am Saturday at one of the smaller soft plays
Exclusive hire at 3pm Sunday at one of the smaller soft plays or farm with optional farm visit after

what do you think the best option would be? Non exclusive is clearly a lot cheaper but I have no idea how many kids will come. She has 3 cousins who will definitely come but other than that it will be her class at nursery, I think there are 28 but no idea how many will come. I don’t want to book exclusive hire for 4 kids! What would people recommend?

Non-exclusive. Book and pay for the minimum number of guests allowed and add any extras by venue's deadline.

Unless you're rolling in spare cash I would book bon exclusive for 10am. Food around 11 so lunch is sorted for everyone.
3 also works well because most children's activities e.g. swimming are in the morning so more would be able to come.

We always used to book exclusive use for our children’s soft play parties. Always worked out well, booked for the morning, all done a dusted by lunchtime. So if you have other things to do it doesn’t take up the whole day. Whatever you chose I am sure your child will have a great party 🎈

I ended up going exclusive - 33 kids came in the end! 😳 so the total opposite of what I was worried about! She had a great day
