M.ums 60 tomorrow

We are having a photo shoot tomorrow pm
Meal in evening ,cakes organised
Going to get a balloon banner to out up outside house tomorrow morning

What else would you do to make day special?

Less banner (no banner …), more (very, very good, preferably organic or biodynamic) wine.

I just turned 60. Of what you have planned I would only like the cake and the dinner. Throw in some wine and you have it sorted. Lose the balloons, she is 60 not 6. The photo shoot depends on where she stands on being photographed. I loathe it with every fibre of my being.

I'm with you on this! There would be he'll to pay if I saw balloons and a banner outside my house! Organic wine (sparkling or otherwise) and my favourite chocolates would make me very happy.

I also hate having my photograph taken so hope the Mum in question isn't like me....

Obviously if your mother has hankered after a banner since she was 6 years old, you wouldn’t want to deprive her of it … It’s just, in general …

Promise me you’ll get the very best wine following the instructions above … (Might be difficult unless you live near a specialist wine shop.)

Well, not every 60 year old is the same! I would hate a balloon banner & rather chop off my own leg than have a photo shoot. Birthday cakes are for children.
I might be OK with a meal, but nothing else - no presents, no fuss. The point is that you know your mother best, so you know what she would like and if she would enjoy a big fuss.
