So as normal my soon to be 7 year old decided she wants a party. 15th of May is her day.
we did a party last year with bouncy castle and only 5 of her school friends came which was so disappointing.
looking for suggestions on what I could do please

Depends on what is available near you.
Depends on budget.
Depends on how much energy you have.
Depends on what skills you have.
Depends on how much time you have.
Depends on how many adults you have that might be prepared to help.
Depends - to some extent - on what seems to happen 'typically' in your dd's class.
Mostly, depends what she would like to do.

Party at home? Hire a hall and DIY ? Pay for softplay ? Pay for another attraction ?

Only 5 attended? How many did you invite? I hope she had a great time in any event!

I would invite who she wants to invite personally given last year's turnout, including the five that turned up. Maybe take them somewhere like bowling or swimming and then for a bite to eat? Or a party at home. May is usually quite nice, they could play outdoors and you could do a BBQ. Maybe invite the parents too and have some wine/soft drinks for them? Or you could have someone come to yours and put on a spa day for the girls, followed by a movie with popcorn etc? That would be lovely.

Good luck!

I invited her whole class so 30 odd children. It was her first proper party as well due to covid.
thanks for the ideas. I’ll speak to her and see what she fancies doing. We did bowling last week for my eldest birthday.
