Hi. I'm looking for fancy dress ideas for a hen weekend to Butlins- Theme is "Back to 2000s".
There about 14 of us.
Looking for inspiration please!

Anyone got ideas?

• Dresses over jeans
• scarf as a belt or chain belt
• Super deep side parting, or:
• ’quiff’ hairstyle (front bit of hair pinned back and slightly pushed forward
• statement jewellery

If you wanted specific fancy dress costume ideas you could all dress as Paris Hilton or avril Levine? They represent both sides of the 2000s girly/emo punk divide 😁

I was discussing this last week (I was 25 in 2000 so not really my era).

Best we could come up with was All Saints combat trousers and very very low cut jeans.

From what I remember at the time (though this may be a bit of a mix of late 90's/early 2000's) -

Tiny wee bolero jacket over a long line low cut sleeveless top.

Tiny wee clutch bag you can barely get onto your shoulder

Big old belt (normally studded) just under your boobs

Very pointed kitten heels

Low rise light blue jeans

Hair clips and hair mascara

Loads of black eyeliner

Is there a style, I'm still wearing clothes I bought then! I'm more rock chick though
