Dd is turning three in a couple of weeks and has repeatedly asked for a party. So we have caved despite saying we wouldn't start parties til school.

Entertainer is booked and we will have 24 children and 27 adults (don't ask).

Plan is to do a typical beige buffet for the kids-
Sandwiches
Crisps
Crudités (carrot pepper and cucumber) hummus
Sausage rolls
Scotch eggs
Breadsticks
Tomatoes
Fruit platter

Then pizzas and crisps to keep parents going

How much should we be doing of each thing?? I don't fancy being left with tonnes of it, eating curled up sandwiches and mini Scotch eggs for the whole weekend but also dread the idea that people leave and think "well now we need a McDonald's drive through as I only had half a tomato!"

Also alternatives to pizza for adults welcomed or I could spend the whole time just cycling pizzas through the oven for them!!

Pizza sounds a lot for you to sort for the parents. I would do something you can just lay out for them to help themselves to. I generally found parents are happy with a drink and food is a bonus.

Scones with jam and cream always go down well!
