So I have booked a party for my child , its sitting at 20 school friends so far and at £14 a child it’s sitting at nearly £300 , problem is my child has 3 cousins , they rarely see each other and are not close plus their mum is an absolute nightmare , my hubby says I should just leave it as school friends but I would feel really bad if I don’t invite them ,, plus an extra 3 kids bring it way past our budget , but I know their mum will expect them to be invited , what should I do 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you feel you have to include them, then invite them to a Birthday tea at home another day as it will be nice to have some quality time together.
Otherwise, just don't feel obliged to invite them at all. I only fell into that trap once and my children were never invited back, not even for a play date with their cousins.
I am fast learning that blood is not necessarily thicker than water, and friends are more of a family to me.
