I need to organise a dinner or lunch for 4 (me, DH, DS and teen sibling) and an outing / something fun to do for DS’s 18th in Feb.

I’ve scrolled and searched online for days and cant think of anything really special, fun and memorable.

We are in London, so it’s not like there aren’t options?

Any ideas? He’s not into parties, loud music, sport. But he’s a pretty open minded, laid back character otherwise!

We recently ate at Eataly, just outside Liverpool Street Station. It’s an amazing shop and has several restaurants plus a small cooking school area. If he’s interested in it, you could maybe do a cooking course together and then eat there?

My friend took her ds and dss to the new ninja warrior place for his 18th. Not sure if there's one in London?

If you’re into Asian food, I highly recommend Inamo in Covent Garden. The tables are interactive so you can play games with each other. It’s fun and different and the food is great too.

I also really recommend Cirque Du Soleil, I think it’s back in London in Feb. It’s amazing and something so different

other ideas: the theatre, mini golf (the fun modern ones that are interactive)

if he enjoys good food then worth to splurge on some Michelin stars, if not I'd suggest any restaurant that serve a hearty meals like Harvester, and get him a more expensive present.

What does he want to do / what does he usually enjoy? We could make millions of suggestions but we're just shooting blind without some idea of his likes and dislikes.

Wake up, pancakes for breakfast and presents. Get ready and go to an escape room - it’s an hour of fun! Then are you planning on lunch or dinner? Get him to buy you an official legal first drink in the pub!
If doing lunch can you invite family round for evening drinks? Or would he like to go out with his mates?
