hi i guess we are going for the bad parents of the year award!
Our beautiful daughter turns 1 on monday and we have NOTHING booked so please if you have any suggestions recomendations please advise.
we were thinking of softplay but it needs to be in the croydon area (or close) and for the weekend 9th or 10th feb, however any ideas would be really welcome

you don't need to BOOK anything, can't you just have a wee tea party in the house?
Why do you feel you have to do something like softplay? There's plenty of time for all of that.

Agree with Flier....she wont know any different. My dd is 1 in a couple of weeks and we are having a little tea party. Tbh I always went way over the score with dd1 and vowed 'never again'.

Go to the local pub for lunch, everyone pays for their own meal. Sorted !!!

We just had the family over last year and will do the same this year, until she is old enough to demand a party

wwe took dd to a museum in glasgow, which sounds a bit high brow for a first birthday, but there were v.child friendly exhibits, which appealed to DS (3.5 at the time) and his cousins, we invited along GPs and aunts/uncles, then had lunch there too.

Isthere anywhere similiar in your area?
