Crusts on or off

Hi I’m doing sandwiches for a 6th bday today. Silly question but crusts on or off?

On - why waste bread? If the kids don't want to eat the crusts then they can leave them.

Off - you’ll end up with less food scattered everywhere.

On - life is too short to be cutting crusts! If they don't want them they can leave it. Food will get everywhere anyway.
Where do kids get the idea not to eat crusts? It must be as some parents do this as a matter of course.

Another question how many sandwiches would you make for 20 kids? One each cut into four?

Depends what else you have. Last party did 1/2 sandwich each but also lots of sausage rolls/crisps/chicken nuggets/fruit kebabs etc. there were a few left over so I figured it was about right.
