My DCs are having a joint party and I'm having trouble finding some nice, quality invitations. Any ideas, please?

I'd like to avoid the Spiderman/Barbie type ones. Sniff.

How old are they?
I just print my own - do it in word, put a border round, put the salient details on, invite a small number of kids and you can easily change the name on each one to make it individual (or use mail merge). I printed the last lot on photo paper as I had a load cheap from somewhere.

Ages ago hausfrau (as she then was) gave me some tips for templates & clip art - I've been making my own since. (Best if you have access to a colour printer, but not essential.)

Here is that ancient thread (not just relevant to bowling parties).

Woodmansterne do nice Quentin Blake notecards, but we also get blank cards which are suitable from Unicef

I'm a Phoenix trader and if you want to order directly online, you can go here !

I made my own for my son, I made them in WOrd, as someone else said, different colours for each line of the invite, then printed on coloured card and used a guillotine to cut them out with wavy edging. Everyoen we gave them to was very impressed
