Class party

My 5 year old is having a soft play birthday party next month. Didn’t have one last year due to covid. Was thinking of a class party. There is room for 50 kids however I’m panicking slightly if someone wants to bring siblings and what to say and am I mad for wanting that many? It’s a fixed price and I am doing food. My daughter is quite sociable despite having a speech disorder. Her older brother is autistic so there’s part of me that wants to include everyone this time round although the thought of making small talk doesn’t feel me with joy!

I think you would be absolutely bonkers to choose to host 50small dc at a party.

I doubt if you'd have any opportunity for small talk!

There’s 30 in the class. I’m imagining it will be more 20 that will turn up from the last two class parties but that was in a hall and a bigger soft play venue.

average of turned out for class parties for my son it's always 50-60% of the class I wonder why it's so consistent. And there r those that's never missed any class party and those that never attended... maybe it's just personnel preference. Hence I invited 29 of the classmates mentioned siblings welcome, indeed, about 16 of them plus siblings 24 (one boy brought 3 siblings 🤣)

i think for a softplay if it's a big one it's quite hard to run around and call out for everyone to come by for the food and cake. Unless you have the whole place to yourselves?
