Checklist help, for a small party at soft play.

4 years old son, in nursery/pre-school. We booked a leisure centre soft play that's relatively small and simple, free play for 45min and then another 45min in the party room for food and cake. Can invite up to 10 children. self catering.

I will send 10 invitations for kids the nursery staff provided, not sure how many will be coming ... Do you think I should ask for more names? They told me there's 35 children in the registration and they provided me 10 children that my son plays with most.

I don't plan to hire an entertainer, or deco the room, there will be only foil balloons which will be given out to the kids guests, 1 each.

So my checklist:-

party snack boxes (sandwiches, juice, fruits, pudding, crisps)
balloons (max 10 pcs)
birthday cake
party bags

have I miss anything? anything with very little effort but will cheer the kids up? (My son is not a big fan of pass the parcel lol, he always left half way during the games at other parties)

Candles, lighter, knife, napkins for the cake.

If you want, you could say 'siblings welcome' and that might bump up your numbers. Drinks! We've been to so many soft play parties and the kids go mental - a fruit shoot right at the end really doesn't cut it. Maybe some sports top water bottles they can stop and gulp from while playing.

Ask for sandwich preference on the invite as its much easier and encourages people to RSVP! Take some bin liners or boxes for taking home presents in. Could do party hats or cheap masks on the table of you wanted.
