Party RSVP reminder

I’ve planned a birthday party and invited the whole class (30) and have had yes from 9 of them. I have not heard from the rest.
party is in a hall with entertainer so I don’t need to pay per child! But I do need an idea of food and number of party bags…

so, I can contact some of the parents by text (there’s a class WhatsApp group) but some are not on that (about 8 of them)

is it weird to send another note in their book bag? Like a reminder of the party and to please RSVP…

if so, what would you write??

first time organising a kids party and I didn’t put a RSVP date - lesson learnt there!

Do the WhatsApp group. That will deal with the majority and will do so easily. Just say what you’ve said here in terms of needing to know for food and party bags (and you could also take the opportunity to ask about any dietary needs)

Text them all individually. The others you'll have to catch up with another way.
I had this happen to me. I text them all individually, and they were all planning on coming, just hadn't got round to replying!

I think a note remind of the party with rsvp date would be great since you missed that in the invi or just post a simple poster message on the WhatsApp group mention something like "look forward to see you at xxx's birthday party on xxxx at xxxx, please rsvp by xxxx"
