Murder Mystery

Hi
I would like to organise a Murder Mystery Party for 4 families with young teenagers (16 people)
Half of participants would be 12-14years old.
Has anyone done something like this? Was it successful? And if so could they point me in the direction of what game they used?

We did one as an extended family group. It wasn't organised by me but I think the organiser found it (the story and info) on the internet. I know you used to be able to get box of Murder mystery games which looked like trivial pursuit in terms of box size.

Maybe get this moved to chat or another busier Mumsnet board than this for better answers?

I just searched Murder mystery game on Amazon and quite a few results came up.

The only thing that might be tricky with your scenario is having enough characters to fit your numbers.

If too many for a murder mystery what about an escape room? Can do some of them in teams.
