My friends daughter is going to be 5 soon and she always goes places with her (soft play etc) which I admire.I would love to give a gift card for something of that type (not just one place a chain perhaps ) however cannot find anything.
Any ideas?

Snakes and Ladders do gift vouchers. They seem to have three locations but they are quite far from each other: Snakes-and-ladders.
I have not been there myself.
Just wondering why you would like a gift card for a chain?
I would imagine people would visit their local soft play centers.
