Have rspvd but not been added to party whatsapp

Hi there

my phone got wiped and I lost some messages one being a party invite - however I managed to read this before I had to restore mg phone! I messaged the mum saying my daughter would love to attend and she said she would add me to the WhatsApp group with party details.

I’ve not been added yet - and not 100% sure of the details. Should I contact the mum and ask details of it? Or leave it… I don’t want to look desperate either 🤦🏽‍♀️🥴

I don’t think anyone could possibly object to a quick message saying you hadn’t been added yet and could she tell you when and where the party is. Don’t overthink it.

Don't overthink it. Contact the mum, explain the problem with the phone, confirm your contact details and go from there.

Just blame your phone being wiped - you seem to have lost some WhatsApp messages in the process and could she resend the details please

Thanks everyone, I had explained the phone being wiped and losing the message to her when I rsvpd and she then said that she would add me to the group - :/
