30 this year, party, holiday or nice meal out with F&F?

Not sure what to do really.

Either a weeks holiday just me and DP. Perhaps a house party, or go all out and have a party somewhere else.

Not sure what to do, any thoughts/horror stories of what not to do?

In the same boat.

We are going on holiday over my actual birthday: renting a cottage with DH, DS, my parents, my sis and her family.

Then having a weekend house party for all my mates centreing around a lunchtime/afternoon BBQ party etc on the Saturday so hopefully people can come for as much or as little of the weekend as they like. It's about 1.5 hours away from home so hoping people will make a weekend of it. My folks are lending me their house for this!

I'm having my 30th do next weekend with my friend. We are having a casino for charity, disco, chocolate fountain and games!! We decided to make it a black tie/cocktail dress event as how many people get dressed up as a regular occurence???
