Superhero and princess party

Hi all
My little girl has a party in a couple of weeks for her 5th birthday. We have a princess entertainer coming but to make it appealing to the boys we made the invitations superhero and princess themed.
My question is how do I keep to this theme?
I’m sure the boys will still enjoy the entertainment but I don’t want them to be completely disappointed by the lack of superhero!
TIA

False advertising! Seriously, just have a princess and princes party. I am sure the boys will cope.

You'll have to dress up as Wonder Woman.

If there is dancing and party food, the kids will be satisfied. In my child’s reception class there were plenty of boys who loved sparkles, and plenty of girls who didn’t. But they all loved dancing and cake.

Just to clarify, I’m not generalising to genders I’m going based on how all of her classmates dressed on world book day, all the boys were dressed as either Spider-Man or another marvel character.
I’m sure they will love any entertainer male or female. I’m just trying to work out how to incorporate their costumes into the decor and theme

They won't notice the decor. As pp said, they just want some decent party food and the chance to let off some steam with crazy dancing and party games.

For my daughters birthday we had a mermaid theme. The guest list was pretty mixed gender wise. I put on the invites that there was a mermaid theme but wear any fancy dress you have at home or own clothes whatever you're most comfortable with. I also hated the thought that a parent would feel stressed into buying a costume their kid didn't care for. The cake/entertainer/decorations /party bags were all in theme and enjoyed by superheroes, princesses, Halloween costumes etc children.

Are you asking the kids to dress up? If not I wouldn't worry too much and just make it princess theme Smile

Prince and Princess theme. Get a pic of Thor in princely clothes for the crossover.

They're 4. They won't care

You can have a few foil balloons in both themes and use generic partyware but having a great time with party games, dance, food and drink is what matters most.
