Mother's Day

Hi,
When it comes to special celebrations I always like to give a personal/sentimental present, alongside a bought present. People love the thought and effort that goes into these, however I'm beginning to run out of ideas that aren't rubbish and would get out in a drawer somewhere.
My son loves this tradition, especially getting involved in choose/ personalising etc, he always make it special to each individual. He has 3 grans that we give presents to on Mother's Day, my mum, my dads wife and his dads mum (my ex) we tend to keep them similar so no one feels left out.
So with that being said I'm looking forward any ideas on what we could do? Thinking back to what your best gift was and why? What would u love to get or dread?

Hi, I might have idea, maybe not exactly like mine but you can change the meaning and activities inside. At Christmas I decided to make a family activity jar and scrap book with a year of memories, for my dad and his wife. It included 12 activities, 1 for each month. Me and my dad have had a few challenges this year, but he's been making such an effort but we always end up just having dinner as life gets in the way, so I made sure the activities were things to get everyone to gether, doing things we wouldn't usually do, like build an obstacle course, have an arts and craft day etc, go on trip, take a hike. My friend made her mum a similar one but left blank, she wanted her mum to write 12 personal targets for the year. When complete we would add the activities card, photos, comments, keepsakes to scrap book. Kinda like a wee keepsake for us showing how important family is. X

Not actually a gift, more like an additional idea, but my bf and I do Mother's day videos with pictures and songs our DMs like. This usually goes along with gift cards or hobby items and is well received every time.

Ohh I love this idea, I usually get my son to do happy birthday videos etc and they're always loved. Might try do full family montage etc xx
